BASHA & HAMZA - Creators of 801 MADE® in Salt Lake City.

WE DIDN’T SET OUT TO BUILD A BRAND.
WE JUST KEPT CREATING.
801 MADE started with graffiti. The rest was inevitable.
There was never a five-year plan.
There was paint.
There were cars.
There was music.
There were clothes.
There was Salt Lake City.
And there were two brothers who kept putting those things together until something started to look like a brand.
BASHA + HAMZA.
Before 801 MADE®, there was graffiti. Before the website, there were walls. Before the clothes, there was art.
BASHA went deep into his own visual language with Absgraff®—raw, abstract graffiti built around chaos, repetition and black paint.
Hamza came at it from another direction. Cars. Clothing. Music. Old things with good proportions. The kind of stuff that doesn't need a logo screaming for attention because the object already has a point of view.
Somewhere in the middle was the 801.
A number people here already understood.
801 MADE® became a way of putting all of it in the same room.
The old gallery. The graffiti. The cars parked outside. The records. The tattoo shops. The skate shops. The weird restaurants.
The people making things in garages, bedrooms, studios and back rooms because they couldn't find what they wanted to buy.
That's the part people miss about Salt Lake.
The city has a clean surface.
Underneath it, there is plenty going on.
801 MADE is interested in that part.
The polished parts.
The dirty parts.
The beautiful parts.
The parts nobody puts in the brochure.
You belong here.
The point was never to make Salt Lake look cooler than it is.
The point was to document the version of it we actually know.
801 MADE® isn't just where we're from.
It's what we make from it.
